A GATHERING FOR NATIVE PEOPLE – WITH AN INVITATION TO SUPPORT AND LEARN

Dear Relatives & Community,

This spring, we invite you to a sacred gathering in the heart of the Great Basin—a day for Native people to come together in our languages, tell our stories, share our crafts, and honor our Elders and culture keepers.

This event is first and foremost for Indigenous people, offering a space to reconnect with traditions, deepen our ties to the land, and uphold the wisdom passed down through generations.

At the same time, we welcome non-Native friends and supporters who feel called to participate in this shared healing. Your presence, your willingness to learn, and your support make it possible for Native community members to attend freely.

This is an opportunity to witness and experience traditional teachings firsthand—to listen, learn, and contribute to a deeper understanding of Indigenous ways.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT (Whether or not you can attend)

We ask our non-Native friends to support this gathering in ways that make it possible for Native people to attend freely:

Donate to help cover event costs (Every donation directly supports participation, food, and materials.)

Attend & learn with an open heart (Your presence in this space strengthens our collective healing.)

Contribute by providing fish, game, setup/breakdown assistance, meal preparation, or accommodations for out-of-town attendees.

🌿 DONATE & SUPPORT HERE

FUNDRAISING GOAL

To ensure that this gathering is accessible for all Native attendees, we aim to raise $3,000 to cover:

🔥 Event Tent (Most essential for gathering space.)

🍲 Food & Serving Ware (We are also seeking food donations.)

🏕️ Support for Guest Needs (Facilities for out-of-town attendees.)

If you are able to donate, your generosity ensures that those who need this gathering the most can attend without financial barriers.

WHY THIS MATTERS

This is more than just a one-day event. It is a continuation of something much deeper—our responsibility to carry forward the teachings of our Elders, to reconnect with the land, and to create spaces where healing can thrive.

When we come together in this way, we honor not only our ancestors but also the generations to come. Whether you are Native and joining in community, or non-Native and offering support, your presence and contribution matter.

🌿 JOIN US. SUPPORT. CARRY THIS FORWARD.
